HighGround is a telehealth startup entering the Australian medical cannabis space, where compliance is strict, awareness is rising, and patient trust is everything.
Their goal: To create a fully digital experience that helps patients access cannabis care in a compliant, professional, and clinically sound way — from eligibility screening to virtual consultation and treatment continuity. But here was the challenge:
Our Process
The concept development phase centered on the idea of **“Threads of Light”**—a narrative inspired by the quiet dance of sunlight through tranquil interiors. We crafted a palette of warm ivories, muted golds, and soft, translucent tones to reflect a sense of clarity and gentle warmth. Influences came from sheer textiles, delicate reflections, and the hush of early morning light.
Final Result
We delivered a frictionless, regulation-compliant UX that never showed a product — yet guided users seamlessly from awareness to onboarding. By leading with eligibility instead of catalogues, we improved conversion clarity while respecting TGA constraints. The system architecture also laid the foundation for scalable doctor and admin tools, ultimately setting a new benchmark for compliant digital health experiences in the medical cannabis space.
